The Challenge

Abbott needed to introduce Lingo, its first consumer biowearable, to an audience unfamiliar with glucose monitoring outside of diabetes management. The challenge was to make complex metabolic science accessible, desirable, and relevant to everyday wellness. Social House needed to build awareness, challenge existing perceptions, and establish Lingo as a new way for consumers to understand their bodies and take control of their health.

The Solution

Social House developed a multiphase North American social strategy that transformed glucose data into culturally relevant storytelling. Through educational content series including The Fundamentals and Glucose Decoded, along with activations surrounding the Chicago Marathon, we connected science to real conversations about energy, nutrition, and performance. The result was an always-on content ecosystem that moved audiences from curiosity to understanding, positioning Lingo at the intersection of technology, wellness, and everyday life.
